Hi, In the previous update you saw that the backbox was completed.

Now the main cabinet is in the paint booth.

I always  start with the underside, then the backbox riser, then the interior; all 3 completed to clear coat.

Once those areas are done, and taped off, then the main body, can receive it’s base coat, which in this case is gloss white.

The playfield swap has begun, and below are some photos of that process.

All the solenoid assemblies are being cleaned, and rebuilt rebuilt.

As soon as the old playfield is stripped, the metal bolts, screws, nuts, washers, lane guides, and such will enter the tumbler / polisher, and turn for well over a week.

Lots of photos here showing the stringing, and prepping for the playfield wire harness transfer.

The board sets are also being rebuilt.

Always start with the transformer / power rectifier board, as it’s the heartbeat of the entire machine.

If it’s not distributing the 5 different output voltages correctly, nothing downstream will operate correctly.

Hello! I wanted to let you know I unpacked and set up Hurricane, and it is in beautiful condition, and working wonderfully! You did a magnificent job on the pallet/crate, and it arrived in great condition. It is currently set up in my living room, and playing it takes me back. Thanks! Pleasure doing business with you.
I was satisfied with Devron's services. His prices are reasonable and he is very knowledgeable. I bought a circus pinball machine from him two years ago. He has done an excellent job of refurbishing this machine. I can phone him anytime when I need questions answered or need to tweak my machine. He is always happy to help me. I would definitely buy another machine from him. I highly recommend him to others.
I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know I received my Space Invaders Pinball machine yesterday afternoon. It was very well crated and arrived without any damage! I have set the machine up and all works as it should. Thanks for coding the plugs, and providing the set-up manual. It has been a pleasure doing business with you.
Hi Devron, I picked up the Buckaroo yesterday at the airport and got it put together this evening. It made it through the trip in great shape, thanks to your great crating job! Nothing was able to shift or get loose and you did a fantastic packing job! The machine looks and plays great! The new backglass arrived last week so I have to put it in to make it look even better. I'm real happy with the machine, and thank you for your very accurate description. Thanks, again, for everything and maybe we'll have the chance to do business again in the future.
If you want to buy a pinball machine without the fear of inheriting someone else's problem – buy from Devron. He is meticulous in his restoration of machines and will never let anything go out the door unless it is 100%. I have seen the results of his work on many occasions and I am always amazed at the quality, and attention to detail. Many people and businesses claim that they have "shopped" their machines, but with Devron it’s the absolute truth. He goes through machines top to bottom, inside and out. I have plans to buy a couple more machines over the next few years, and I guarantee they will be from Devron. I just know that it will be done right.
